It is a strictly necessary, technical cookie: without it the account area cannot work, so under Italian and EU law it does not require your consent. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, so scripts on the page cannot read it and it travels only over encrypted connections.
Cloudflare, which protects the site and the account area from attacks, may set a strictly necessary security cookie of its own (such as __cf_bm) to tell people from automated traffic; it needs no consent either, and holds nothing that identifies you.
Payments. Checkout happens on Stripe’s own pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe’s privacy and cookie policy.
Removing it. Sign out, or use “Sign out everywhere” in the account area, or delete it in your browser’s settings. You will simply need to sign in again.
If we ever add cookies that need your consent, we will ask for it first, with a choice as easy to refuse as to accept, and update this page.
