These terms are an agreement between you and Dotlabs Studios di Emanuele Masala, trading as DotLabs Studios, a sole proprietorship with its registered office at Via Tarragona 31/a, 07041 Alghero (SS), Italy (VAT number IT02966720902, REA SS-221604; “we”, “us”). They cover Procedural Mesh Studio: the desktop app (the “Studio”), the engine plugins for Unreal Engine, Unity and Blender, the base library of models, the assistant, the account area and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them.
1. Your account
You sign in with a Google account; in the Studio you can also sign in with your license number. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and to buy. Keep your account and your license number secure: what happens through them is your responsibility. Licenses, credits and purchases belong to the account that bought them and cannot be moved to another.
2. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | €15 a month | the Studio, the plugins, the library, updates, 350 free credits a month |
| Annual | €150 a year | the same, billed once a year |
| Lifetime | €399 once | the Studio, the plugins, the library and every future version, without a subscription |
No VAT is charged: we are under the Italian flat-rate scheme (regime forfettario, Law 190/2014, article 1, paragraphs 54–89). The price that applies is the one shown when you buy, and it is what you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, by card or by the other methods its payment page offers.
Buying. Before you pay, in your account on this website or in the Studio, you accept these terms and ask for immediate access to what you buy, acknowledging that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal; we record that request. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed, and the license or the credits are available at once.
Launch offer. Purchases made before the date shown on the pricing page pay €9 for the first month of the monthly plan, €90 for the first year of the annual plan, and €299 for the lifetime license. After the first month or year, subscriptions renew at the normal price.
We may change prices for the future. For an active subscription we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
3. Renewal, payment and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, charged to the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account (Invoices, card and cancellation): nothing more is charged, and the license stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and the Studio keeps working for up to seven days. If the payment still does not go through, the license stops working; it works again if the payment is made later, and ends if the subscription is cancelled.
Withdrawal and refunds are covered by the refund policy: in short, access is immediate and purchases are not refunded.
4. The lifetime license
A lifetime license is paid once and does not expire. It includes every future version of the Studio and its plugins, for as long as we operate the Service. It does not include monthly free credits; credits can be bought separately.
5. Your license to use the software
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Studio and the plugins, for the duration of your plan, on as many computers at the same time as your account shows (currently two). You can free a computer’s place by signing it out from the Studio or from your account.
The Studio runs on Windows, macOS and Linux; the system requirements are on the download page. The Service is online: the Studio checks your license with our server while you work and stops after a short time without a connection, while always letting you save. We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted; maintenance and events outside our control can make it unavailable for a while.
6. What you may not do
You may not:
- share your account or license, or let others use it beyond the computers it allows;
- resell, rent or sublicense the Studio, the plugins, the library or access to the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where the law allows it regardless of this term;
- bypass or interfere with license checks, usage limits or security measures;
- try to extract the assistant’s instructions or our prompts, or use the Service to build a competing service;
- send automated or abusive volumes of requests, or use the Service for anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
7. Credits
Credits pay for the assistant when it runs on the model we provide (currently DeepSeek).
- Charged on use. Each reply costs the credits that correspond to what it actually used, at the rates in force, shown in the Studio after each reply. A reply needs enough credits available to start.
- Free credits. Monthly and annual plans come with 350 free credits a month. On the same day of each month as your purchase they are brought back to 350; unused free credits do not carry over, and they end with the subscription.
- Bought credits. Credits bought in packs are used after the free ones, do not expire while your account exists, are not refundable, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
8. Using your own AI key
You can use the assistant with your own key from a supported provider instead of credits. Your use of that provider is governed by its terms; its costs are yours. Your key stays encrypted on your computer and passes through our server with each request without being stored.
9. What the assistant produces
The assistant’s output is generated by AI models and may be incomplete or wrong. Review it before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use what you make, including making sure it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
10. Who owns what
What you make is yours. Models, scripts and assets you create with the Service, including those written with the assistant, belong to you, and we claim no rights over them. What comes from the base library stays under the library’s license below, also inside your work.
The base library. We grant you the right to use the models of the base library, as they are or modified, in your own projects, including commercial games and applications. You may not redistribute them as standalone assets, in asset packs or collections, or in another library, marketplace or tool.
The Service is ours. The Studio, the plugins, the library, the website and their content remain the property of DotLabs Studios and its licensors. The Service includes open source software under its own licenses, listed on the open source page; the Blender extension is free software under the GNU GPL.
11. Updates and changes to the Service
We release updates that fix problems and add features; the Studio installs them in the background, and some may be needed to keep using the Service. We may change or stop parts of the Service, without taking away what you paid for during the period you paid for.
12. Warranties and liability
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you, including the legal guarantee of conformity, and nothing in these terms limits them.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of data (keep backups of your work) or for loss of profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. None of this limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable. You can delete your account at any time from the account area, after cancelling any active subscription.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will publish the new version here with its date and, for significant changes, tell you by email in advance. For an active subscription, a significant change applies from your next renewal; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before then.
15. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of that place. For business users, the courts of Sassari, Italy, have jurisdiction.
